Artist Statement
This journal is part of a series I created using circles in various ways. In this case, the stitching on the spine subtly reinforces the strong circular closure on the front.
Materials and Techniques
This is a longstitch artist’s journal featuring hand-torn pages of Rives BFK between two hand-marbled endsheets. The cover is pieced from various colors of Italian veg-tanned leather. The book closes easily with a snap.
