How to Get to Western Oregon University
Registration and check-in for FOBA is in the Richard Woodcock Education Center at 601 Monmouth Avenue North, Monmouth, OR 97361. Parking on Arrival
We recommend that when you arrive for check-in, park in Lot Q (on the south side of the Richard Woodcock Education Center (RWEC). Walk into the RWEC to check and we will give you information on how to obtain your parking permit from the kiosk in Lot B.
Once you have your parking permit, you may park in any parking lot on campus. Click here to see a campus map, with the best parking lots colored in light blue.
Check-In Location and Hours
You’ve arrived! Check-in will be in the Richard Woodcock Education Center in Room 101. Check-in is from 3 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday and 8 am to 9 am Wednesday through Sunday.
If you arrive after check-in hours, please go to the Information Desk and staff will be able to help you get your room keys and check you in.
Attendee will be given a welcome bag upon check-in that will include:
- Name badge, including meal package symbol (if purchased)
- Workshop schedule and location
- Apartment keys
- Parking information
- WiFi information
- Participant Handbook that contains loads of general information: the conference schedule, the workshop schedule with maps of classroom locations, evening activities, a campus map, a list of points of interest in the area, and our sponsors.

After Hours Check-In and Check-Out
If you know you will be arriving or departing “after hours” and you have reserved on-campus housing, you may need to visit the campus Residential Service Center to obtain your room keys and drop them off when you leave. Please email facilities@focusonbookarts.org to let us know of your approximate arrival/departures times so we can help plan the best option.
The Residential Service Center is located just south of Landers Hall: 735 Stadium Drive North, Monmouth, OR 97361 (which is the closest address if you are walking there). If you are driving, use the address for Heritage Hall: 875 Stadium Drive North, Monmouth, OR 97361. You can park in the 15- or 30-minute zones outside of Heritage Hall and walk past the dumpsters, then follow the signs that read Residential Service Center.

Conference Information Desk
The Conference Information Desk will have someone available to help you in the Richard Woodcock Education Center from 1 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, 8 am to 5 pm Wednesday through Saturday, and 8 am to 4:30 pm on Sunday.

Meals will take place in the Summit Room of the Werner University Center.
