Check-in is at the Richard Woodcock Education Center. The address is 601 Monmouth Avenue North, Monmouth, OR 97361, but if you put this in GPS, it does not get you to the parking lot. Please give this map to the transportation company or put it into your GPS.

Driving Information

Monmouth is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Portland International Airport (PDX); or 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Eugene Airport (EUG). Salem is only 20 minutes from campus, and in under 10 minutes you can be in the center of the nearby cities of Dallas or Independence.

Transit Information

  1. Pacific Crest Bus Lines has a FREE bus between the Eugene Airport and Monmouth, the 99 Vine. The times are very limited and the bus only runs Monday through Friday. You must make a reservation.
  2. Take the Groome Transportation Shuttle from the Portland Airport to Salem (takes about 2 hours, with 20 trips per a day, $49-$54 per person). Then transfer to the local bus service, Cherriots bus route #40X, stop 1520, from the Salem transit center to WOU (about $2 per person); Ticket information; (503) 588-2877.
  3. Need to line up an Uber for a ride-share partnership? Contact Dave Coey for custom/scheduled Uber rides. (503) 680-8409‬. Texting is the best option, and with as much advance notice as possible. He can take up to 3 passengers with luggage comfortably (he drives a Rav4 Hybrid). Tons of luggage? Just share between two. $150 each way (so $75 per person if shared between two.) Dave is super reliable!
