Techniques & Materials:
Wool covered flat rock, with little cardboard book on the front of the rock; cyanotype base with drawings and text in french, a tiny bottle contening stars and feathers; hold closed with a glass pearle;
Artist Statement: My artwork walks the line between the two-dimensional and three- dimensional : mixing photography and alternative analog technics with sculptural books and other plastic art ; I upcycle, make, create, mixing matter to my visual work, inviting the viewer to dream and wander, to another reality that they can reinterpret in their own way. In a too fast going world, mixing technics teaches me to take time again, and is part of my inside growing process. Like footprints, sometimes light, sometimes pronounced, they leave a more or less readable imprint of my perception of the world at a given moment, changing the relationship to space and time.
