Artist Statement
I launched my own 100-Day Project, creating 100 weavings over the last 100 days of 2013, at a time when I needed something to help me focus and create something new daily. That project was rewarding in so many ways, and in 2019, I turned that 100-day weaving project into a month-long online class that takes place in February called Weave Through Winter. Since 2020, I have created a daily weaving with the group during February. Weaving Album #1 contains a selection of weavings that I created in Weave Through Winter classes over the years.
Materials and Techniques
This book houses a selection of paper weavings created during my annual Weave Through Winter online class. Each weaving is created with decorative papers. Reverse piano hinge binding.
