The Faculty-Staff Exhibit is a great chance to see some works of art by your FOBA Conference workshop instructors and conference staff.

WHERE: It will be located on the first floor of the Richard Woodcock Education Center, just follow the signs once you enter the lobby.

WHEN: This exhibit will also be open to the public during the course of the conference. Exact hours will be posted here, but we plan to open the exhibit as check-in begins the afternoon of June 25th. The closing reception for the exhibit and conference will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

WHO CAN ENTER: All instructors, the FOBA Board members, and this years fellows can submit up to two entries into this years exhibit. Just fill out the entry form for each submission.  If you are interested in the possibility of selling your submitted artwork, be sure to note that on the form, and include all your contact info at the end of your Artist Statement, so potential buyers can contact you directly during the conference. (FOBA won’t be handling any artwork sales, and won’t be charging any commission for exhibit sales.) Even if you are not planning to sell your artwork, we still need you to list the retail value when you fill out the form for insurance purposes.

ARTWORK SUBMISSION & RETURN:

  • Please complete the Faculty/Staff Exhibit form and upload two or three photos of your art.
  • After your submit the form, an email will be sent to you. Please print that email, and place inside your shipping container along with your artwork.
  • Artwork should be carefully packaged and shipped (with tracking) to arrive no later than May 31 2024.  Ship artwork to : Jeri Oswalt (c/o FOBA) 5262 SE Logus Road Milwaukie OR 97222.
  • Jeri will be collecting all the artwork boxes, and storing them safely until Kristi and Jeri set up the show right before the conference. In case you need it for the shipping forms, or to check arrival/delivery, Jeri’s mobile number is: 503-997-1186.
  • All artwork must be picked up at the end of the conference on June 30th. If the work is to be returned by mail, prepaid return shipping must be included with the artwork.
