The Focus on Book Arts (FOBA) Conference…

…is a 5-day event held biennially in Oregon.

Every other year we hold a 5-day conference. The dates for 2026 are Wednesday, June 24, through Sunday, June 28.

The conference attracts more than 200 people from around the world.

…includes 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day workshops led by industry experts.

Workshops are taught by the very best in the fields of bookbinding, printing, paper decorating, papermaking, book design, and publishing.

…is an opportunity to network, learn, and share.

In addition to the five days of workshops, the FOBA conference includes a Trade Show, an Artists’ Fair, a Keynote Speaker, a Faculty-Staff Exhibit, and several evening receptions. The FOBA conference is an opportunity for networking and learning new skills in the various areas of book arts.
