Artist Statement
This book is a collection of quotes from the television sitcom “Schitt’s Creek,” created by Dan Levy and Eugene Levy. Illustrations of sweaters worn by David Rose were drawn by the binder. The design of the binding is inspired by a specific sweater worn by David Rose and illustrated inside the pages of the book.
Materials & Technique
The binding is a full leather in black goatskin with laced in boards, hand sewn silk endbands, Palladium silver top edge gilding gold and silver tooling on the cover with inlaid steel cabochons. Hand-painted gold and silver flyleaves and pastedowns. Custom clamshell box with matching hand-painted gold and silver pastedowns.
