In this book, I wanted a work about animals, names of the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere, where I live. Since I was a child, my father has taught me to love the stars and guide me through the constellations, so I always locate my place in this world. I always observe these heavenly fields in the certainty that there is something beyond, much greater than our little dreams.
Mara Caruso (Porto Alegre, RS Brazil)
Mara Caruso is dedicated to the research, reflection and production of Artist Books and has been guiding workshops in this area since 2003. During her undergraduate course at the Federal University, she took several specialization courses in visual arts. She participates in national and international exhibitions of Artist’s Book and Mail Art. She coordinates the Gralha Azul Group formed by 15 artists from RS.
