Seven Wells is a book based on the paradise themes found in portable prayer rugs. Carpets, like the accordion format, are linked with motion and a timed reveal. The opening image of a magnifying lens signals close focus and changing perspectives. After moving through a narrative punctuated with water and skies, the book concludes with an homage to the James Webb telescope.
Seven Wells is a discourse on my relationship with gravity, with grounding and the possibilities of weightless imagination.
