The FOBA Pitch and Put evening activity is an opportunity for you to share what you have been working on with other FOBA attendees. We all have creations that we would love to share with others; or would like to share problems, stumbling blocks or challenges we have faced with our creation and get some creative and constructive help. Pitch and Put is the perfect opportunity to share with an audience of like-minded artists.
Come pitch your achievement and put your creation out there for others to see. Tell us about a how you achieved a recent commission or brought an idea from conception to fruition. Describe how collaboration affected a recent project. Display finished work of which you are particularly proud (or not, but then explain why). Talk about recent work in a different mode or medium. Present an incomplete project you are puzzling how to finish. Reveal the hidden message or compartment in your latest composition. Come hear what other people are working on. What better group of peers than the attendees of a book arts conference?
Many of our attendees submitted an entry(s) to the All Stitched Up show. We would love to have you bring your entry (accepted or not) to FOBA and talk about it during the Pitch and Put event.
Bring your work and bring your words Wednesday night and plan on about five minutes to talk about it. A moderator will keep time so all who want to will get a chance to speak.
