The Artists’ Fair is replacing the Artist’s Shop from past conferences. The Artists’ Fair will be open to the public on Thursday and Friday evenings in the Cawein Gallery, and is an opportunity for book artists to personally sell their fine crafts.

For conference attendees and the public this is a unique opportunity to purchase hand-made books, cards, hand decorated papers, and other book related work from professional artists and students of the arts.

Book artists can sign up for a table at the Artists Fair to display and sell their hand-made book related work to the public and other attendees of the conference. Please note that space is limited and, therefore, everything for sale must fit on a 6’ x 3’ table. Setup and takedown times will be minimal. The book artist must be present at the table to sell their hand-crafted work and will handle all their own sales.

Tables may be shared, but one person must be responsible for signup, payment and the insurance requirements.

If you are interested in selling your hand-crafted items during the Artists’ Fair, you can sign up for a table during registration. Additionally, table signup will also be available separate from workshop registration beginning March 4 until May 1, 2019. So, if you haven’t decided if you want to sell your items at time of registration, you can do it later.  There is a $25 charge for each 6’ x 3’ table, payable online through the website. You may set up for Thursday night only, Friday night only, or both for no additional fee.

All vendors at the Artists’ Fair must provide a Certificate of Liability with Pacific University and Focus on Book Arts listed as additional insured. If you have business liability insurance, please contact your insurance company to provide this certificate. If you do not have this insurance, it is possible to purchase it from other carriers. ACT Insurance (Artist, Crafters and Tradesman Insurance) is one such carrier. This certificate of liability must be received no later than May 15, 2019.
